Training Plans

With 40 years of triathlon coaching experience, Dave Scott has coached and advised a full spectrum of athletes from novices to competitive age groupers to world champions like Chrissie Wellington and Craig Alexander. As the National Triathlon Coach for Team In Training for more than a decade, Dave has also taught the introductory and advanced coaching programs to Team In Training’s coaches.

You can now get Dave’s coaching expertise distilled down into an online triathlon training plan targeted to your race distance and experience:

Dave’s triathlon training plans provide a systematic and progressive approach to your training. Tangible measurement of your progress is one of the key elements of Dave’s plans – without measurement, training becomes too random. In Dave’s plans, you will use marker sets to objectively measure not only your ability on a given day, but also to determine what your race potential should be on race day. Race-simulated sets and bricks replicate the physical and psychological tests of your race.

Dave’s plans include his comprehensive, proprietary Triathlon Training Plan Guide explaining his training methodology  plus each plan includes video training tips covering optimal fueling, proper pacing, mental training tactics, race day strategy and more!
