24 Week Silverman Training Program
This 24 week training plan will prepare you for the unique Iron Distance Silverman course. The plan starts out with moderate intensity and builds over the 24 weeks of training time. The workouts are progressive, and have 3 sessions per week, per discipline. These are the "target" or key sessions and you have the option of adding or deleting sessions depending upon your progression, work commitments and available training time. Using this program will provide you with the confidence in your preparation training to tackle the Silverman triathlon. By utilizing the tools and handouts that I have provided, the plan is laid out and easy to follow. You will recieve racing and training tips throughout the course of the training schedule and you'll have an opportunity to ask me questions during the two phone conferences over the 24 weeks of training. These conference times will be sent out during the third week of your training cycle.
