This program includes several exercises that will force your muscles and mind to execute them properly. Good form is a prerequisite for this program. If your form falters you’ll get immediate feedback. Included in the program are two yoga exercises that are great movements to strengthen the abdominals and support postural muscles of the spine. I’ve also added one of my favorites – Ab Tic Tockers, which is a strength and flexibility exercise for your obliques. Lots of fun!
Weeks 5-8 of this 8 week program uses the dumbbells extensively. Adding dynamic movements with extra load (weight) you’ll feel the muscle tension in each set. I personally did this program at the outset of my season (even though I’m not a beginner!) to isolate all areas of my core. The All Seasons Full Body Program is challenging. This is a program that can also be used for a maintenance program during the season. You’ll love this series!
